BLIND SIMULATOR

[Event] PATHFINDER Participates in the 2nd Gyeongsangnam-do Lifelong Learning Expo & Literacy Month Event

■BLIND SIMULATOR VR Experience at the Gyeongsangnam-do Lifelong Learning Expo

FUNNYBON, a developer of immersive XR and VR-based experiential content, participated in the 2nd Gyeongsangnam-do Lifelong Learning Expo & Literacy Month Event under its former name, PATHFINDER. The event was held from October 17 to 18, 2025 at the Changwon Exhibition Convention Center.

At the event, FUNNYBON operated a hands-on experience booth featuring BLIND SIMULATOR, introducing visitors to disability awareness education through virtual reality and immersive content.

■VR-Based Disability Awareness as Part of Lifelong Learning

The event was held under the theme “A Hopeful Gyeongnam Growing Through Lifelong Learning, Coexistence, and Mutual Growth”, with the goal of promoting lifelong learning and strengthening community-based education.

Around 60 organizations participated, including 18 cities and counties across Gyeongsangnam-do, regional universities, public institutions, and content companies.

FUNNYBON invited visitors to experience BLIND SIMULATOR and gain a more intuitive understanding of the mobility challenges and everyday difficulties faced by people with complete visual impairment.

■Expanding BLIND SIMULATOR into Lifelong Education

BLIND SIMULATOR is a VR experience designed to let users navigate and explore their surroundings with limited visual information while relying on a virtual white cane, 3D spatial audio, and haptic feedback.

Beyond a simple VR experience, the content encourages participants to understand visual impairment through direct action and immersive interaction. This allows it to be used not only in schools, but also in public institutions, lifelong learning programs, exhibitions, and community events.

At the expo, participants from a wide range of age groups experienced the content firsthand, demonstrating the potential of VR-based disability awareness education in lifelong learning environments.

■Expanding Experiential XR Content Through Regional Collaboration

FUNNYBON continues to participate in major exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural events across Korea, introducing BLIND SIMULATOR and other proprietary XR·VR content.

The company plans to expand its collaboration with schools, public institutions, lifelong learning programs, and regional events in Gyeongsangnam-do and other regions, broadening the use of VR-based disability awareness education and experiential XR content.

FUNNYBON will continue developing XR·VR content that goes beyond technology demonstrations to create experiences that encourage greater understanding and empathy.
