[Event] PATHFINDER Participates in the 2025 Gimhae Specialized High School & Youth Job Fair

■BLIND SIMULATOR VR Experience at the Gimhae Job Fair
FUNNYBON, a developer of immersive XR and VR-based experiential content, participated in the 2025 Gimhae Specialized High School & Youth Job Fair under its former name, PATHFINDER.

Held on September 11, 2025 at Gimhae Sports and Culture Center, the event welcomed approximately 600 participants who took part in job counseling sessions and various hands-on programs. At the venue, students and staff had the opportunity to experience BLIND SIMULATOR, FUNNYBON’s VR content designed to help users better understand visual impairment.

■Experiencing Visual Impairment Through VR
BLIND SIMULATOR is an experiential VR content program that recreates the process of moving and exploring a space without visual information, simulating the challenges of complete blindness.

Participants experience using a white cane, navigating through space, and exploring their surroundings in a visually restricted environment, helping them gain a more intuitive understanding of the mobility challenges and everyday difficulties faced by people with visual impairments.

The content incorporates 3D spatial audio, white-cane-based interaction, and haptic feedback, allowing users to experience changes in spatial perception and the difficulty of movement through direct participation rather than explanation alone.

■Over 95% Positive Responses in Participant Survey
Following the VR experience, participants were asked:

“Do you think the VR experience accurately reflected the difficulties faced by people with visual impairments?”

More than 95% of respondents answered “Yes.”

Through this event, we were able to once again confirm the potential of BLIND SIMULATOR as more than just a VR experience, but as an experiential XR content program that can support disability awareness and empathy-based education.

■Expanding Experiential XR Content into Education and Public Institutions
BLIND SIMULATOR can be used in schools, educational institutions, public organizations, companies, exhibitions, and hands-on events as content for improving awareness of visual impairment and supporting empathy-based education.

FUNNYBON plans to continue expanding educational and experiential content that uses XR and VR technologies to help participants not only experience new technology, but also understand and reflect through direct participation.
